The Undergraduate Certificate in Theatre and Performance cultivates skills in performance analysis, creation, and production, with special attention to solo and small-group performances in urban settings.
This curriculum introduces students to diverse cultural and theoretical viewpoints for engaging with contemporary theatre scholarship. Participants gain expertise across theatre disciplines, including acting, directing, script interpretation, educational theatre, literary critique, creative production, arts administration, and professional/community theatre, particularly focusing on individual and small ensemble work.

We do not require SAT or ACT test scores for admission or merit scholarship consideration.
Students who are admitted with TOEFL iBT of 60-94 or IELTS of 5.5-6.5 will take the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) placement test. Admitted students with Duolingo scores (min. accepted score - 90) will also be required to take the EAP placement test.
