This undergraduate program provides specialized training in journalism and mass communication, tailored for IUPUI students who wish to explore journalism while pursuing a different major.
Beyond honing abilities in writing, reporting, storytelling, editing, visual communication, and emerging media technologies, you'll master research methods, critical analysis, collaboration, and adaptability—qualities highly valued by today's employers.

We do not require SAT or ACT test scores for admission or merit scholarship consideration.
Students who are admitted with TOEFL iBT of 60-94 or IELTS of 5.5-6.5 will take the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) placement test. Admitted students with Duolingo scores (min. accepted score - 90) will also be required to take the EAP placement test.
