This motorsports-focused program prepares graduates for careers in the racing industry and automotive companies by teaching engineering fundamentals through hands-on projects involving the design, analysis, and construction of actual systems. IUPUI became the first U.S. university to offer a bachelor's degree in motorsports engineering.
Established in May 2008, this four-year Purdue University Bachelor of Science in Motorsports Engineering equips students for careers in motorsports and automotive sectors. The curriculum emphasizes fundamental engineering principles and incorporates practical projects focused on designing, analyzing, and building real-world systems.
Students must have earned a diploma from an accredited high school before you enroll at IUPUI.
ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
Students scoring TOEFL 60+ or IELTS 5.5+ are eligible for admission but should anticipate taking additional English for Academic Purposes courses along with their academic program.
