Studying sociology offers insightful understanding of our intricate social environment.

The BA in Sociology equips students with frameworks, viewpoints, and methodologies to investigate pressing contemporary matters like social disparities, evolving digital communication, racial equity movements, climate impact, and health-related societal influences.

Modern workplaces seek graduates possessing analytical reasoning and communication abilities to interpret our fast-evolving society, along with intercultural awareness for diverse settings and problem-solving capacities.

This sociology program proves especially valuable for those pursuing careers in social sciences, education, public sector, legal fields, justice systems, urban planning, community services, healthcare, market research, and corporate sectors.

Beyond foundational courses introducing sociological approaches, our curriculum includes instruction in research techniques, statistical analysis, and theoretical frameworks. These essential courses establish core sociological knowledge, while allowing customization through specialized electives covering healthcare systems, familial structures, identity studies, athletic culture, and political sociology.
