The Bachelor of Arts in art history enables undergraduate students to explore humanity's visual heritage, spanning from ancient prehistoric creations to contemporary artworks, while examining art's vital role in global societies. Along with cultivating visual analysis skills, students hone their research and communication abilities, learning to collect and assess information while constructing well-supported arguments. At Herron, you'll gain insight into art's relationship with history, science, language, and cultural traditions, investigating key artistic developments from the Stone Age to modern times.

Students must have earned a diploma from an accredited high school before you enroll at IUPUI.
ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
Students scoring TOEFL 60+ or IELTS 5.5+ are eligible for admission but should anticipate taking additional English for Academic Purposes courses along with their academic program.
