The sculpture program's goal is to pioneer through creative approaches.
We motivate students to explore cutting-edge technologies while engaging in thorough theoretical examinations.
Those focusing on sculpture transform tangible materials to address contemporary challenges. Studio research spans from object-based work to immersive installations, live performances, and community-focused projects.
Our sculpture facility occupies 7,500 square feet in the newly upgraded Robertshaw building. It features comprehensive workshop spaces including a tool room, woodworking shop, metalworking zones, outdoor casting area, plaster and mold-making section, resin workspace, and an accessible spray booth. Additionally, students can utilize the 800-square-foot Grey Space for showcasing and recording their artistic creations.
