The Philosophy Pre-Law Program prepares students for graduate legal studies by developing essential analytical skills for interpreting complex legal materials, as evidenced by strong law school acceptance rates and LSAT scores.
Alongside philosophy classes, the Pre-Law curriculum includes seven interdisciplinary courses spanning business, criminology, economics, history, English, and political science. These offerings meet law school prerequisites while building LSAT competencies. Qualified philosophy majors may pursue honors coursework.
Philosophy students cultivate precise reading abilities, independent thinking, articulate communication, logical argumentation, fallacy detection, reasoning clarification, and assumption analysis.
