The Applied Anthropology program merges quantitative research approaches, frequently used in other social sciences, with cultural anthropology's qualitative methodologies. This pathway aims to equip students with foundational anthropological theories and methods, intercultural understanding, and practical application opportunities via fieldwork and internships. Working closely with their faculty advisor, students concentrate on specialized subjects. Past focus areas have encompassed migration studies, Indigenous Peoples research, refugee challenges, and healthcare anthropology. The adaptable course structure, complemented by hands-on experiences, prepares graduates for both academic pursuits and professional roles beyond university settings.
