O'Neill's Energy and Climate Policy MPA specialization equips you to address pressing energy and climate issues. Foundational classes in energy economics, policy, and systems pave the way for specialized studies in energy law, climate regulations, behavioral aspects of energy use, and broader environmental policy and sustainability topics. You'll select complementary science electives covering renewable energy, atmospheric pollution, and climate change effects. This knowledge enables you to formulate evidence-based policies aligned with contemporary energy needs. Your specialized training will qualify you to conduct rigorous energy assessments and develop policies for government agencies, research institutions, nonprofits, and corporations. Graduates gain the expertise to contribute to solutions at global, national, or local levels, including within dynamic state and city initiatives.
