The doctoral program's coursework aims to equip students with expertise in their selected discipline by engaging them with contemporary literature while introducing research methods and frameworks. PhD candidates must commit to full-time participation in the program. The Entrepreneurship PhD curriculum includes six seminars (four mandatory and two optional) in the primary field, three research methodology and statistics courses, and three courses in an approved minor concentration. The minor field requires endorsement from both the Management and Entrepreneurship Department advisor and the minor department. Additionally, all doctoral students must complete a teaching development seminar.
