With expertise spanning orchestral performance, chamber music, solo recordings, and teaching methods, you'll gain access to unparalleled knowledge and artistic mastery. As a woodwind student at the Jacobs School of Music, you'll participate in over 1,100 annual performances. Performance opportunities range from solo recitals to chamber groups and large ensembles, including six orchestras, two symphonic bands, a baroque and classical orchestra, a contemporary music ensemble, and an extensive chamber music program. Jazz and historical performance options are also available.
