Our institution houses one of the world's premier jazz education programs, where students thrive in an exceptionally innovative and cooperative environment. We provide both bachelor's and master's degree programs that comprehensively prepare students in all facets of jazz performance and teaching methodology. The curriculum encompasses improvisation, historical studies, arranging/composition, participation in various ensemble sizes, rhythm section mastery, individual instrument instruction, recording techniques, vocal jazz, and teaching methods. Students learn from distinguished faculty members with remarkable professional achievements in performance and education. Our elite jazz faculty includes renowned scholars, published authors, acclaimed composers and performers, Grammy award recipients, NEA honorees, Pulitzer Prize winners, and Jazz Masters.
Applicant must have completed a diploma from an accredited high school (or must have completed the Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma)
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 79 on internet-based test, 550 on paper-based test, IELTS score of 6.5 and PTE score of 53.
