The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science exposes students to core concepts in political systems, examining why governments exist, their organizational frameworks and operations, mechanisms for accountability, and intergovernmental relations. This program equips learners with analytical tools and insights to comprehend governance and political dynamics, both domestically and globally. Our curriculum explores governmental structures and political mechanisms while fostering critical thinking about policy debates, legislative decisions, and social consequences. Students gain practical political experience through internships, international study programs, honors research initiatives, or faculty-led investigations. Graduates with political science degrees from IUB enter diverse fields including public administration, non-governmental organizations, legal practice, corporate sectors, media, electoral politics, policy evaluation, and academic instruction. The program cultivates engaged citizens, imparts specialized competencies valuable for public and private sector careers, and establishes groundwork for advanced political scholarship.
Applicant must have completed a diploma from an accredited high school (or must have completed the Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma)
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 79 on internet-based test, 550 on paper-based test, IELTS score of 6.5 and PTE score of 53.
