The Classical Civilization program offers a versatile major designed for students with minimal or no prior experience in Greek or Latin. This degree enables exploration of diverse elements from ancient Greek and Roman societies while tracing the roots of Western traditions across literature, art, legal systems, medical practices, and intellectual thought. Students can opt for language courses in Greek or Latin, or select English-only curriculum options. This interdisciplinary program appeals to learners with varied academic backgrounds. Ideal candidates typically possess: A passion for investigating ancient languages and civilizations, Curiosity about multiple dimensions of Greco-Roman culture spanning literature, myths, historical events, artistic expressions, and structural designs, and Professional ambitions in fields like healthcare, legal practice, commerce, teaching, media, or creative industries
Applicant must have completed a diploma from an accredited high school (or must have completed the Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma)
Applicant must have TOEFL score of 79 on internet-based test, 550 on paper-based test, IELTS score of 6.5 and PTE score of 53.
