Those enrolled in the Master of Music in Conducting program receive substantial podium experience under the guidance of committed and practicing faculty conductors. Graduates leave equipped to pursue doctoral studies or lead ensembles in schools, churches, community settings, or higher education institutions. The program features coursework in applied conducting, analytical techniques for conductors, research methods, conducting practicum, plus electives ranging from performance recitals to music technology, history, theory, education, therapy, business, jazz studies, ensemble participation, and interdisciplinary courses.
