English Studies employs diverse interdisciplinary approaches to analyze and create texts for English-speaking audiences. It explores how cultures influence language and vice versa, and how cultural intersections impact cross-border communication. The field investigates innovative ways to foster connections and dialogue. Through areas like Children's Literature, Creative Writing, English Education, Linguistics, Literary and Cultural Studies, and various branches of Rhetoric and Writing (including New Media Studies, Professional Writing, Rhetoric and Composition, and Teaching Writing), along with TESOL, students and scholars examine how we teach, learn, and comprehend ourselves and others through storytelling and communication methods.
