In today's fast-changing global landscape marked by ecological shifts, achieving environmental sustainability poses significant challenges for societies, governments, and businesses worldwide. Organizations across all economic sectors face growing demands from investors, regulatory requirements, and societal expectations to prioritize environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations in their operations.
Stuart School of Business's Master of Science in Sustainability Analytics and Management (SAM) program equips students with STEM backgrounds—particularly engineering—with practical expertise, theoretical knowledge, and hands-on experience to tackle contemporary sustainability challenges.
Through its practical curriculum, the SAM program demonstrates how to harness technological advancements, data analysis techniques, and entrepreneurial thinking to create and oversee sustainable systems. The coursework explores the complex relationship between economic development and environmental protection, including practical applications of environmental-economic modeling and strategies for pollution reduction and management.
