Illinois Tech's Master of Science in Environmental Engineering with a focus on Energy/Environment/Economics (E3) equips students with specialized professional training in key areas of environmental engineering, particularly applied to energy systems, ecological concerns, and economic factors. The curriculum offers a multidisciplinary foundation, allowing students to develop expertise across various environmental engineering disciplines such as water treatment systems, atmospheric pollution control, and hazardous materials management.
The program includes optional coursework in energy technologies, providing distinctive insights into related environmental challenges and the economic factors influencing technological decisions.
