The J.D. Certificate Program in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution focuses on linking legal principles, practical skills, and professional ethics with the practice of law. Students gain hands-on experience through our in-house legal clinic, handling cases involving civil rights, employment discrimination, criminal defense, immigration, family law, healthcare/disability issues, or tax matters. After obtaining mediation certification, they facilitate actual mediations across diverse legal fields.

Both full-time and part-time students can apply during their first-year spring semester at Chicago-Kent.
