The Department of School Psychology and Educational Leadership aims to develop skilled leaders who drive meaningful progress and create nurturing environments that enhance both professional success and personal well-being for all learners. The School Psychology Program's curriculum is built upon a deep theoretical, empirical, and practical framework that defines psychologists' responsibilities in educational contexts. This foundation strictly follows evidence-based training methods and procedures outlined by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) standards, implemented through a cohesive and thorough approach. The program's training components maintain strong consistency with NASP guidelines. Our central mission is to equip aspiring school psychologists with the tools to implement impactful strategies that foster children's educational development and emotional health, enabling them to flourish in academic environments, family settings, and beyond. Graduates emerge as valuable contributors to educational teams, enhancing student learning capabilities while empowering educators. They utilize specialized knowledge in psychological health, cognitive development, and behavioral science to promote student achievement across academic performance, conduct, and socio-emotional growth.
