Idaho State University's undergraduate nursing program is a four-year professional course that culminates in a Bachelor of Science degree with a Nursing major. The School of Nursing's bachelor's programs hold full national accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and maintain approval from the Idaho State Board of Nursing. The program's objective is to equip graduates for professional registered nursing roles across diverse healthcare environments. Through learning labs and various clinical settings, students gain hands-on experience delivering patient care. Upon completion, graduates qualify to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensing exam. This undergraduate curriculum also lays the groundwork for advanced studies. Applicants must either hold an associate degree in nursing or be currently pursuing one.
