The Philosophy program provides classes covering philosophical history, key philosophical concepts, and essential cognitive abilities for philosophical study. These courses give students greater insight into humanity's heritage and their role in it, while also enhancing analytical and writing capabilities applicable across all academic fields. Philosophy graduates gain excellent preparation for law school, advanced degree programs, or professions demanding sharp analytical and writing competencies. The Pre-Law track specifically equips students for further legal or medical education, with philosophy majors regularly achieving top scores on the LSAT. Students pursuing the Philosophy Pre-Law emphasis will master analytical techniques, persuasive argumentation, critical text analysis, and logical reasoning. Our faculty members have published extensively, conducted significant research, and shared their findings at international conferences and symposiums. This degree opens doors to careers in law, social work, counseling, or academia, with alumni establishing themselves in legal practice, hospitality management, and various other sectors.
