Qualification Requirements
Applicants must meet the admissions requirements for the Master of Divinity and the Master of Business Administration degree for the respective schools. Due to the sequential nature of the dual degree program, applicants will only be admitted in the fall semester, and must be full-time students.
Additional Requirements for Master of Divinity students who wish to enroll in the MBA Program:
Must declare that intention by submitting a full application to the MBA Program at the time of initial MDiv application and no later than the end of the fall semester of the second year of enrollment in the MDiv Program.
Submit current scores for the Graduate Management Administration Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
Have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0, and if already admitted at HUSD, a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Students admitted to the dual MDIV/MBA who have not completed a calculus course will be required to take the School of Business Foundations of Analysis course once enrolled in the MBA Program. This course is designed to prepare MBA students for the quantitative-based MBA courses.
Additional Requirements for Master of Business Administration student who wish to enroll in the MDiv Program:
Must declare that intention by submitting a full application to the MDiv Program at the time of initial MDiv application and no later than the end of the first fall semester in the MBA Program.
Be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 as a current MBA student.
Have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75, and if already admitted at HUSB, a minimum GPA of 3.0.
IELTS - a minimum overall band score of 6.5, with no individual band score below 6.0.
TOEFL - (iBT) - 90
