The Master of Science in Medical Physics is a 39-credit program that can be completed in two years through full-time enrollment, with part-time options available. This MS program provides comprehensive training in medical physics fundamentals and key specialties, including therapeutic, diagnostic, and nuclear medical physics, along with radiation safety. Students gain hands-on clinical experience through supervised practicums at Northwell Health facilities and attend special seminars featuring experts from healthcare and industry sectors. The curriculum also encourages involvement in various research projects and develops skills for effectively communicating medical physics concepts.
