The Department of Teaching, Learning and Technology provides a dual certification master's program covering both early childhood and childhood education. This graduate program equips students to become certified teachers for young children (Birth-Grade 2) and elementary grades (1-6). Participants gain hands-on experience through observations and fieldwork in diverse early childhood and elementary school environments across the region.

Upon completion, graduates qualify for New York State Education Department certification (Birth-Grade 2 and Grades 1-6) with endorsement from the School of Education.

Nonmatriculated graduate students may enroll in up to 12 semester hours of coursework.

All candidates must fulfill New York State Education Department requirements for liberal arts and sciences coursework before degree completion.
