The MSAT program's goal is to train competent athletic training professionals through rigorous coursework and hands-on clinical training. It fosters academic excellence while cultivating a supportive learning atmosphere. Students will gain the expertise, technical abilities, and professional mindset to become thoughtful healthcare providers, researchers, educators, advocates, and industry leaders. Graduates will skillfully apply athletic training principles, ethical standards, and evidence-based care to diverse populations across all life stages, committed to enhancing patient health and advancing the profession.
The 53-credit program spans two years with summer sessions, featuring five clinical rotations alongside classroom and lab instruction. These clinical placements occur throughout the week and weekends, while coursework is offered on weekdays and evenings at our campus facilities.
