Individuals applying for the Associate of Science degree must possess an Advanced Technical Diploma (ATD) in medical laboratory technology (or comparable qualification) with 40 transferable credit hours from a technical college. At Hillsborough Community College, students will complete an additional 36 credit hours to fulfill the AS degree requirements.

To be eligible for admission to an associate degree program at HCC, applicants must submit documentation that they have the equivalent of one of the following:
