IDS 2891 is mandatory for all pathways, while SLS 1106 typically applies to first-year college students. Some students may qualify to waive CGS 2100 through proficiency testing. To be eligible for admission to an associate degree program at HCC, applicants must have the equivalent of one of the following: high school equivalency certificate (GED), Associate or higher degree, standard high school diploma.
