The AA degree in Architecture equips students with foundational skills for architectural design careers and seamless transfer to bachelor's or master's programs. Ideal candidates possess creative abilities, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for both traditional drawing techniques and digital drafting tools in architectural contexts. The program strongly recommends supplementing core AA requirements with Computer-Aided Design & Drafting (CADD) coursework. Certain classes may also apply toward interior design and landscape architecture degrees at other institutions. Future students should verify specific transfer requirements with their target universities.
