Psychology explores human and animal behavior and mental processes through scientific methods. The Psychology Department's program immerses students in diverse subjects, equipping them with methodologies and lab experiences to analyze and address challenges in professional, personal, and community settings. Coursework spans areas like learning processes, cognitive functions, developmental stages across ages, typical and atypical behaviors, substance dependencies, brain science, and psychological applications in business, education, and healthcare. The program prioritizes experiential learning, practical fieldwork, and global research opportunities, laying the foundation for advanced psychology studies or various psychology-related careers.
HPU psychology graduates master psychological science, developing capabilities in research, analytical reasoning, and essential professional skills including data analysis, public speaking, and effective writing. Their education emphasizes practical application through internships and research projects, cultivating versatile competencies valuable across psychology-related and other professional domains.
Students are preferred to have a high school and should include grades/scores for each subject.
