The Biostatistics Master of Science programs equip students with foundational statistical theory knowledge, along with biostatistical and bioinformatics techniques for study design, data analysis, and report writing. Students learn to interpret numerical data for scientific conclusions in medical and public health research, while developing skills to collaborate and communicate with scientists across disciplines. The curriculum covers diverse applications such as observational studies, clinical trials, computational biology, quantitative genomics, statistical genetics, and medical/public health research. Tailored for individuals with strong mathematical and statistical foundations, the program enables students to reach proficiency equivalent to an 80-credit curriculum within one year. Those holding a Master's in mathematical sciences or a doctoral degree in quantitative fields may qualify for the accelerated one-year SM program.
