The Harvard Chan School's Master of Public Health program equips you with comprehensive knowledge, specialized expertise, practical skills, and an influential global network to advance your public health career. Whether you're a practicing physician, experienced public health practitioner, or entering the field for the first time, adaptable program structures and diverse concentration options offer both foundational public health training and customized specialization to align with your professional aspirations. Alumni of the Harvard Chan MPH program have made extraordinary contributions worldwide. Their accomplishments include spearheading international campaigns to eliminate diseases like smallpox and Guinea worm, directing hospital departments and healthcare organizations, and assuming leadership roles in health ministries, NGOs, corporations, universities, and government bodies. Graduates have pioneered vital vaccines, practiced as surgeons and primary care providers, authored acclaimed books, and even governed nations. The 45-credit MPH (MPH-45) is designed for professionals holding advanced degrees, medical/dental students who've finished their core clinical training, or individuals with five-plus years of public health experience. This program can also be combined with another degree. Typically, full-time students complete the MPH-45 in two semesters (one academic year).

English Language Scores: The Harvard Chan School requires a minimum of 600 on the paper-based test, 250 on the computer-based test, and 100 on the Internet-based 4-part test (we prefer individual section scores of 23 or better). The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) will also be accepted with a score of 7.0 or greater. Application Deadline: December 01.
