The Associate in Science-Transfer Track 2/Major Related Program in Civil and Mechanical Engineering degree covers Aeronautical, Environmental, and Industrial Engineering disciplines, incorporating essential general education coursework for first and second-year students. This program is designed to equip students for transfer to universities in science-focused disciplines, providing a comprehensive foundation before advancing to specialized upper-level courses. While the curriculum doesn't fulfill General Education/University (GER/GUR) requirements, it prepares transfer students to enter state universities with junior-level standing, both in credit hours and major-specific preparation.
Refer to Articulation Agreements for information on participating colleges. To complete this degree, students must earn 109 quarter credits from approved 100-level or higher courses (see distribution list) and satisfy specific distribution criteria. Pass/no-credit options are limited to 25% of total credits, and students should note that Pass grades might not meet major requirements. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA and 24 credits completed at Green River College are required, with 200-level courses recommended in the study plan.
