The Associate in Arts degree follows a Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA) structure, tailored for students aiming to transition to a university after finishing their initial two years at Green River. This program is ideal for undecided students who haven't chosen their specific field or target university. It provides a comprehensive foundation before students advance to specialized upper-level courses, demonstrating completion of a two-year liberal arts curriculum. Those with a chosen major can tailor their elective credits and distribution selections to align with their transfer goals, with guidance available from academic advisors. Incorporating 200-level courses into their study plan is recommended. This qualification adheres to the Intercollege Relations Commission (ICRC) standards for transfer degrees, a collaborative framework established to streamline student transfers between Washington's community colleges and four-year institutions.
