This program caters to both beginners entering machine maintenance and experienced professionals seeking to enhance their skills for employer demands. Graduates will qualify for entry-level roles as Mechatronics Technicians in installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting. The curriculum explores fundamental energy systems powering machinery: mechanical (solids), hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical. Students will master components that manage and utilize these energy forms. Other study areas encompass mechanical fabrication, wiring for industrial/residential settings, rigging, motor control systems, electric fluid power, PLCs, automation, robotics (with optional MTX 150 certification), and forklift operation certification. The program also includes troubleshooting training for hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
