The College of Arts and Sciences created this dual degree program to meet student requests for an educational path that enhances their capabilities by integrating the foundational elements of both disciplines, giving graduates a competitive edge in employment opportunities. Those who complete this combined program will earn two master's degrees simultaneously - one in Public Administration and another in Criminal Justice. The Public Administration curriculum equips students with essential competencies for public sector careers, covering subjects like personnel management, urban planning, and fiscal policy. Meanwhile, the Criminal Justice program emphasizes developing the expertise needed to drive organizational transformation, including designing, executing, and assessing reform measures within justice systems. This approach strengthens traditional criminal justice and policy studies by incorporating a strong social justice component.
