Gonzaga's Civil Engineering program integrates technical expertise, hands-on project-based education, and the Jesuit principle of holistic personal development to equip you with the skills and understanding needed to benefit society. Should you aspire to plan and build essential infrastructure that enables modern communities to operate sustainably—including roads, pedestrian and bicycle paths, bridges, dams, tunnels, structures, airports, water and wastewater treatment systems, or other major projects—Gonzaga's ABET-accredited and nationally recognized civil engineering degree will prepare you for success. The program cultivates close academic connections between students and faculty. Through small class sizes, practical lab and fieldwork, immersive senior capstone design projects, and independent research options, you will learn from professors with extensive academic credentials and professional industry experience.
As an applicant for admission, you are expected to graduate from an accredited high school with a college preparatory curriculum.
