The Pre-Law advising program helps students prepare for law school by offering recommended coursework and LSAT preparation during their undergraduate studies. This program equips students with essential skills like analyzing complex texts, critical thinking, constructing persuasive arguments, and improving writing abilities. Although it doesn't grant a degree or certification, the program gives students the freedom to choose their preferred majors while building a strong background in political science, statistics, economics, history, and philosophy. Annually, the Pre-Law advisor suggests tailored courses based on each student's goals and requirements. Beyond academics, law schools evaluate applicants based on LSAT scores, personal background, and involvement in activities demonstrating commitment, drive, and strong moral principles.
