The Associate of Arts in World Language Degree enhances students' critical analysis, problem-solving, and communication abilities while fostering cultural and linguistic understanding, equipping graduates for diverse careers in our interconnected global society where effective communication is essential. This program prepares students for further education and professional paths in fields such as: education, healthcare, law enforcement, legal professions, corporate sectors, global trade, foreign services, cross-cultural relations, social sciences, literary studies, language sciences, interpretation, education, academic research, corporate communications, global markets, travel industry, hotel management, news media, book publishing, entertainment media, marketing, television production, cinema, and professional advisory services. The degree provides comprehensive language instruction from introductory to advanced levels, allowing students to choose their preferred language pairing. Each course aims to strengthen listening, speaking, reading, and/or writing proficiency while exploring the historical and cultural contexts of world languages.
