The Real Estate program focuses particularly on meeting California's licensing criteria. Students are required to complete the Real Estate Principles class (RE 101), a Real Estate Practice course (RE 120), plus an additional real estate course prior to attempting the state exam. Those pursuing a broker's license need to finish all eight (8) mandatory real estate courses in this certificate program before sitting for the California State Broker Examination. Graduates will establish a definitive strategy to begin a thriving real estate profession. Program Learning Outcomes: After finishing this curriculum, students will possess the skills to create a concrete career roadmap for entering the real estate field successfully, while fulfilling all prerequisites to attempt and clear the California Department of Real Estate Brokers licensing examination

Qualification Requirements

Secondary or high school school students - submit proof of completion of secondary education by submitting your transcripts, a graduation certificate, or diploma. If you have not yet graduated from your secondary school, you may apply with in-progress transcripts and must submit final documents showing completion prior to enrollment at GCC.
College or university students - submit transcripts of all colleges/universities you have attended. Secondary or high school records are not required if you have completed at least one term of college or university.
