This degree or certificate represents the third level in the statewide IT Technician program, providing students with the sophisticated technical abilities needed for an IT Technician role. While progressing through the curriculum, students are advised to pursue relevant industry-recognized certifications including CompTIA Linux, Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). Those who have finished Stages I and II of the IT Technician pathway plus this final stage qualify for roles like Computer Systems Analysts, Information Security Analysts, Network and Computer Systems Administrators, and IT management positions in wholesale/retail settings. Program Learning Outcomes: After completing this program, graduates will be capable of applying system and network administration principles, as well as comprehending and implementing Cyber Security fundamentals within business environments.
