This program is designed for students pursuing careers in allied health professions, including nursing, physical therapy, optometry, occupational therapy, and various related fields. The curriculum equips students for advanced studies in certificate programs or for transferring to four-year colleges to earn degrees like public health. Participants will gain expertise in human anatomy, chemistry, communication, psychology, physiology, anthropology, and nutrition. A total of 20 units must be completed across all required courses. Program Learning Outcomes: After finishing this program, students will demonstrate the ability to recognize anatomical structures and explain the functions of key bodily systems, while also being thoroughly prepared for further education in health science disciplines.
