This program prepares students to become skilled office professionals by developing competencies in essential office tasks such as document management, business communication, and technology operations. Program Learning Outcomes: Graduates will demonstrate proficiency in office operations including mail handling, phone etiquette, and document processing. They will edit and refine business communications such as memos, emails, and reports while cultivating interpersonal skills for effective workplace interactions with colleagues and clients. Students will gain practical experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and develop professional writing abilities using proper business language and grammar. The curriculum covers digital literacy including Global Information Systems navigation, email usage, and database research. Participants will master Windows 7 fundamentals, basic computer operations, and technical terminology. Additionally, graduates will achieve a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute and demonstrate advanced document formatting skills for various business materials including forms, resumes, applications, and specialized publications.
