This program equips students with the essential knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to pursue careers as Personal Trainers or Group Fitness Instructors. The curriculum incorporates hands-on training to ensure practical skill development. Prospective students should possess foundational understanding of human biology, basic English communication skills, and the capacity for moderate physical exertion prior to enrollment. The program requires completion of all core courses, totaling 18-23 units. Program Outcomes: Graduates will be prepared to take the NASM-CPT and AFAA-GFI certification exams, apply kinesiology principles to create and deliver customized fitness programs for diverse populations, and implement standard safety protocols.
