Students pursuing an Associate of Science in civil engineering build skills in mathematics, fundamental sciences, and engineering subjects like structural statics, alongside general education courses that enhance their technical knowledge. A total of 37 units from required courses must be completed. Program Learning Outcomes: Upon finishing this program, students will be able to recognize, define, and resolve engineering issues using engineering, scientific, and mathematical principles; utilize the engineering design process to develop solutions that address specific needs while considering public health, safety, welfare, and global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic aspects; convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences; work productively in teams by providing leadership, fostering a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere, setting objectives, organizing tasks, and achieving technical goals; and transition to a bachelor's degree program to complete their preparation for a career in a specialized area of civil engineering.
High School transcripts and Diploma; minimum of 2.0 or ""C"" grade point average, if transferring directly from a U.S.-based College or University.
Students under 18 years of age may apply, but must submit final transcripts showing secondary/high school completion before the first term of enrollment.
Proof of English Proficiency
Application Deadline: July 10 for Fall Semester; November 30 for Spring Semester and May 15 for the Summer Session.
