Students earning an Associate in Arts in Acting will develop the ability to value plays and theater as a cooperative artistic endeavor, critically assess dramatic scripts, utilize theatrical expertise for transfer readiness, grasp fundamental stagecraft and script terminology, and follow both spoken and written directions. The program requires completion of 28-38.5 units across mandatory courses. Program Outcomes: Graduates will possess the skills to apply theatrical knowledge for further education or careers, examine plays from page to stage, recognize theater vocabulary and roles, and understand theater as a collective creative process.
