This program equips students with skills in writing, reading, and critical thinking about both local and global communities. It provides a foundation for transferring to bachelor's degree programs in various fields including anthropology, child development, economics, ethnic studies, gender studies, geography, global studies, history, philosophy, political science, psychology, and sociology. To complete the program, students must finish all core requirements and select additional courses to reach a total of 18 units. Program Learning Outcomes: Graduates will gain a comprehensive and analytical perspective on the intricate connections between human and environmental influences. They will develop critical thinking abilities and fundamental knowledge about the complex interactions between humanity and the natural world.
