The Master of Science in Geosciences with a Geography specialization enables students to focus on urban studies, geospatial technologies, or physical geography and environmental studies. Both thesis and capstone options are offered. The Department of Geosciences stands out by bridging social and physical aspects of environmental and resource challenges, particularly emphasizing urban areas. Our faculty specialize in water-related social and environmental factors, environmental geochemistry, and global climate shifts. We're also enhancing our Geographic Information Science programs to more effectively address intricate social and environmental issues. Collaborating with students and community organizations, we address interconnected 21st-century environmental and societal problems concerning natural resource sustainability, availability, and quality.
