The Master of Arts in History program at Georgia State equips students for diverse professional paths, both within and beyond academic settings. Participants gain profound knowledge in their selected historical specialization, acquire proficiency in various analytical approaches and techniques - including innovative digital tools for research and scholarly communication - and hone essential communication abilities for success in the contemporary workforce. Small groups of 10-12 students commence each autumn term, benefiting from personalized guidance and collaborative learning throughout the academic year. Additionally, we provide a combined Bachelor's/Master's track that allows exceptional undergraduates to enroll in graduate-level courses and accelerate their M.A. completion (usually requiring just one extra year following their bachelor's studies).
