The Educational Policy Studies Ph.D. program enables learners to explore educational philosophy and implementation while cultivating methodological expertise and analytical skills for evaluating educational practices. Participants will train to become policy analysts capable of assessing educational policies and their impacts on learning systems.

When applying to the Educational Policy Studies, Ph.D. program, you will need to submit the following:

Two Letters of Recommendation (recent letters from persons who can evaluate academic promise such as professors, for candidates interested in Tier II certification one must be from an immediate supervisor)
Must have completed master's level degree
Official Transcript: minimum 3.30 graduate GPA required for admission
submit transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
In addition, if English is not the primary language, official TOEFL or IETLS scores must be submitted to Georgia State University. TOEFL scores should be submitted using school code 5251 and IETLS scores can be submitted by selecting Georgia State University Graduate Admissions. Applicants must submit a minimum TOEFL score of 79 or a minimum IETLS score of 6.5 for graduate admission. Applicants who completed a degree within the United States, will not be required to take the English proficiency exam. For additional questions regarding international credentials, please contact your college admission advisor directly.
